Lewis Hamilton has once again been overlooked by his Formula 1 peers, missing out on a place among the season’s top ten drivers as voted by those within the paddock.
The seven-time world champion endured a difficult 2025 campaign, one that stood out as the most challenging of his illustrious career. In his debut season with Ferrari, Hamilton failed to secure a race win, podium finish, or pole position for the first time in Formula 1.
His struggles were not limited to results on track. When drivers cast their votes for the year’s standout performers, Hamilton’s name was absent from the final top-ten list.
A similar outcome followed in the rankings compiled by team principals, where Hamilton was also excluded, reinforcing how far his standing had slipped during the season.
Instead, his peers backed fresh faces such as Alex Albon, Oliver Bearman, and Isack Hadjar, all of whom were new additions to the list and impressed consistently throughout the year.
